Terms & conditions

Recurring casino promotion, not a new-customer deposit match. The official Kenya page checked on 27 September 2026 states an end date of 31 December 2026. Stake at least KES 50 on qualifying casino play; 10% of the previous day's net losses, excluding gift bets, is returned up to KES 10,000 per day. Credit is Free Bet Gifts by noon the next day, not withdrawable cash. Gifts expire after seven days; only resulting winnings can be withdrawn. No extra wagering multiplier or separate opt-in was stated on the inspected page; that does not remove game or account conditions. One eligible person/household/email/phone/card/IP/device; minors and self-excluded customers are excluded. Abuse, duplicate accounts and technical failures can affect eligibility; the operator can amend or end the promotion. Qualifying losses can exceed the reward, and no profit or award is guaranteed. Terms & conditions

The Kenya page states an end date of 31 December 2026 and tournaments on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Select JOIN in the game before participating. It advertises a minimum KES 10 real-money qualifying bet and cashout at 1.2x or higher for points; the KES 10 claim does not resolve the statutory minimum-stake conflict. Gift, freebet and Rain bets do not qualify. The displayed ranking awards KES 200 to places 1–3; 150 to 4–10; 100 to 11–25; 50 to 26–75; 20 to 76–200; 10 to 201–300; 5 to 301–500; 2 to 501–1000; and 1 to 1001–2000. Although marketing calls rewards cash, the terms specify Hero-only Free Bet Gifts, credited after the tournament and expiring in four days. Only resulting winnings can be withdrawn. The displayed table totals KES 12,150; the page does not provide enough round detail to reconcile this with its KES 350,000 weekly headline. Point conversion and tie handling remain unspecified on the outer page. Duplicate and abusive participation is excluded; terms may change. Paid play does not guarantee a qualifying rank or award. No tournament was entered. Full terms: https://www.sportybet.com/ke/promotions/content/sporty_hero_tournament?activityId=2026081116252358176

Terms & conditions

The official Kenya page states an end date of 31 December 2026. Only qualifying bets cashed out above 1.1x before a random drop count. Meeting a wagering tier does not itself award a gift: click Claim while a drop is available, subject to first-come winner caps. Hero tiers: KES 500 qualifying wagering for a KES 50 gift, 100 winners per drop and ten daily drops; KES 2,000 for KES 250, 100 winners and twelve drops. Jet: KES 200 for KES 20, 150 winners and twelve drops; KES 1,000 for KES 100, 100 winners and twelve drops. Aviator: KES 500 for KES 50, 125 winners and twenty-four drops. The introductory text names Sporty Kick but provides no matching tier. The qualifying accumulation/reset window is not stated; do not assume a single-bet threshold or daily reset. Gifts are game-restricted, expire in seven days and cannot themselves be withdrawn; only resulting winnings can be withdrawn. Duplicate/abusive accounts, minors and self-excluded customers are excluded, and the operator may change the campaign. Qualifying play can lose more than the gift; availability and a successful claim are not guaranteed. No claim was attempted. Slots

the Kenya lobby exposes slot games, and the exact local Drops & Wins terms name eligible Pragmatic Play titles. Catalogue and promotion eligibility do not establish the deployed RTP, current non-duplicate title count, independent audit or an executed spin.

Virtual Sports

Kenya navigation and the connected pass exposed scheduled/instant virtual football and simulated events. The scheduled-virtual route later returned temporarily unavailable; this is not proof of discontinuance, and event depth changes over time.

Sports Betting

sampled football, basketball, tennis and table tennis with deep market counts; market depth and prices are time-sensitive.

Esports Betting

the exact Kenya sports navigation displays Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and League of Legends and also lists eFootball/eBasketball/eTennis events. This confirms menu availability, not bet placement, odds depth, liquidity, settlement rules or an accepted wager.

Casino

the Kenya lobby showed multiple genres and named games, including slots, cards, jackpots, instant/quick games and operator originals. Provider attribution and exact current title counts vary by lobby snapshot.

Crash Games

the lobby displayed crash-game categories and titles. Sporty Soccer, Red Black and Goal Rush rules were reviewed, but material probabilities/RTP, limits, providers and independent certification were not established; do not imply verified fairness or expected return.

Lottery

  • Sampled football, basketball, tennis and table tennis included detailed pre-match markets, alongside a separate changing live-event lobby.
  • The exact Android package is country-scoped, and the official iOS destination has a stable Apple product ID.
  • The weekly 13-match jackpot publishes entry costs, shared-prize tiers and postponed-match rules.

Cons

  • Renewal and continuation under the new framework remain unverified; older licence numbers and the footer's legal wording differ.
  • Operator states 5% withdrawal tax; Swahili FAQ also cites KES 15 for online withdrawals below KES 500, a discrepancy needing clarification.
  • Help calls withdrawals instant only up to KES 70,000 per day despite a KES 250,000 transaction ceiling, and permits provider fees or delay.
  • Numeric RTP and provider evidence was not exposed for inspected games, and independent Kenya-local user-review coverage remains limited.

How we rate

Each factor below is scored from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) by our editorial team.

Licensing & jurisdiction fit
Scope: score the exact domain/app for the target jurisdiction. Verify the licence in the regulator's public register and confirm that the registered domains include the reviewed domain. Use BetAppStore's maintained, versioned licence-tier list. 1 = No licence, or the relevant licence is revoked or suspended. 2 = A licence is claimed but is expired, cannot be verified, or the validation seal does not resolve to the operator/domain. 3 = A valid Tier-3/offshore licence is verifiable in a public register, but player recourse and market-specific protection are limited. 4 = A valid Tier-1 or Tier-2 licence exists but was not issued for the target market, or a target-market Tier-2 licence applies. 5 = A valid Tier-1 licence explicitly covers the target market, operator and exact reviewed domain/app. Child/local versions are always checked separately for local authorization; a parent licence is not automatically inherited.
Ownership & track record
Check the operating company, parent, corporate registry, beneficial ownership, years since launch, regulatory history and supported unresolved confiscation/non-payment cases from the last 24 months. 1 = Operator identity cannot be verified; or the brand is blacklisted; or there is a confirmed mass non-payment event or more than 15 supported unresolved fund cases. 2 = Company is named but not verifiable, ownership is materially opaque/nominee-only, the brand is under 1 year old, or there are 6–15 supported unresolved cases. 3 = Company is registry-verified, owners may be undisclosed, brand has operated 2–4 years, and there is no mass incident; no more than 5 supported unresolved cases. 4 = Company and controlling owners are verifiable, brand has operated 5–7 years, is not blacklisted, and has no more than 2 supported unresolved cases. 5 = Public/audited company or named beneficial owners, 8+ years operating, no material regulator sanction and no supported unresolved fund case in 24 months. A child brand may inherit group ownership, age and group-wide incidents; its own local incidents override inherited history.
Player funds & game fairness
Count four safeguards: (A) independent RNG/game audit or a public provably-fair verifier; (B) per-game RTP/rules disclosure; (C) segregated player funds or public proof of reserves; (D) independent ADR plus a supported complaint-resolution rate of at least 80% over 24 months where a meaningful sample exists. 1 = None of the four; or a failed unresolved BetAppStore withdrawal; or a regulator finding for withheld player funds or unfair games. 2 = Exactly 1 safeguard, with no verified non-payment event in the last 24 months. 3 = Exactly 2 safeguards, including A. 4 = Exactly 3 safeguards, including A. 5 = All 4 safeguards are current and independently verifiable. Operator marketing claims do not count as evidence. Official records and instrumented tests override lower-level sources.
Account security
Advanced controls are: login alerts, active device/session list, withdrawal-address whitelist, withdrawal lock/delay, and a clearly documented account-recovery process. Score controls available to ordinary users on the reviewed domain/app. 1 = Password-only protection, or a serious confirmed security failure remains unresolved. 2 = No user 2FA, but every withdrawal requires an email or SMS confirmation. 3 = User-controlled 2FA is available, with no additional advanced control. 4 = 2FA plus 1 advanced control. 5 = 2FA plus at least 2 advanced controls; sensitive changes and withdrawals are re-authenticated. HTTPS alone is mandatory baseline security and does not raise the score.
Responsible gambling
Count only working account tools: deposit limit, loss limit, wager limit, session/time limit, reality check, cooling-off/time-out, self-exclusion, self-assessment, and a target-market help-organization link. 1 = 0 working tools. 2 = 1 working tool. 3 = 2–3 working tools. 4 = 4–5 working tools. 5 = 6 or more working tools, including self-exclusion and at least one money limit. A policy page or marketing claim does not count unless the control is usable from the reviewed account.
Payout reliability & speed
Measure request-to-funds-received time using the median of 3 comparable withdrawals on the fastest normally available method. Record method, amount, timestamps, KYC status and failures. Measured results override 'instant payout' advertising. 1 = More than 5 business days; or a failed unresolved test; or a supported pattern of systematic delays/confiscation. Missing verifiable payout evidence also scores 1, not N/A. 2 = More than 48 hours and up to 5 business days, or a fixed pending period above 48 hours. 3 = More than 12 hours and up to 48 hours. 4 = More than 1 hour and up to 12 hours. 5 = 1 hour or less, processed 24/7, with all 3 tests completed and no unexplained reversal or failure.
Fees, minimums & limits
Score four applicable subtests separately, then average without intermediate rounding and round the final factor to the nearest whole score: operator fees on main methods; minimum withdrawal; monthly withdrawal cap; maximum sportsbook payout or casino win cap. Convert to EUR at the snapshot date. Mark a genuinely irrelevant subtest N/A. 1 = Fees above 5% or undisclosed; minimum above €100; monthly cap below €5,000; or maximum payout below €25,000. 2 = Main-method fees above 2% to 5%; minimum €51–100; cap €5,000–19,999; or maximum payout €25,000–99,999. 3 = Fees up to 2% or a material dormancy fee; minimum €31–50; cap €20,000–49,999; or maximum payout €100,000–249,999. 4 = No operator fee on main methods; minimum €11–30; cap €50,000–99,999; or maximum payout €250,000–999,999. 5 = No operator fees on any normal method; minimum €10 or less; no monthly cap or cap at least €100,000; and maximum payout at least €1,000,000 or no cap. If subtests land in different bands, use their mean; do not choose only the best condition.
KYC predictability & privacy
Measure verification effort, speed, disclosure and secure data handling—not whether KYC exists. Lawful, predictable KYC can score highly. Record requirements disclosed before deposit, accepted documents, triggers, secure upload route and median completion time. 1 = Supported evidence that KYC is used to stall/refuse legitimate payouts; verification exceeds 7 days without cause; documents are handled insecurely; or no meaningful privacy policy exists. 2 = More than 72 hours; repeated or duplicate requests; unexplained source-of-funds checks on withdrawals below €5,000; or broad marketing-partner data sharing. 3 = Required at signup or first withdrawal, completed within 72 hours, with a clear document list and privacy policy. 4 = Required only at a disclosed trigger/first withdrawal, completed within 24 hours, with secure upload and specific rejection reasons. 5 = No mandatory document KYC below a stated cumulative threshold of at least €2,000, OR automated e-ID completes within 15 minutes; triggers and privacy terms are clear and data collection is minimized.
Payment methods & market fit
Count only payment categories that users in the target market can use for both deposit and withdrawal: cards; bank/instant banking; e-wallets; domestic methods; crypto; prepaid/vouchers. For crypto-first sites also record supported coins/networks and a fiat on/off-ramp. 1 = Only 1 usable category, or deposit and withdrawal routes are incompatible, or networks/fees are materially undisclosed. 2 = 2 usable categories. 3 = 3 usable categories; for crypto-first sites, 3–4 supported coins with disclosed networks. 4 = 4 usable categories including a leading domestic method in the primary market; for crypto-first sites, 5–7 coins. 5 = At least 5 usable categories including a leading domestic method in every declared target market; for crypto-first sites, 8+ coins plus a usable fiat on/off-ramp. Do not reward a long global list when those methods are unavailable in the reviewed market.
Customer support & dispute resolution
Run 3 timed tests using standard questions about KYC, withdrawals, settlement, complaints and self-exclusion. Compare answers with written terms. Record hours, language, first-response time, accuracy, complaint escalation and independent ADR/regulator access. 1 = No working support channel, median response exceeds 24 hours, or no public complaint route. 2 = Email/ticket only, answered within 24 hours, with a basic complaint route. 3 = Working live chat with limited hours or median response within 15 minutes, plus documented escalation. 4 = 24/7 live chat in the primary-market language, median response within 5 minutes, accurate answers and a formal complaint process. 5 = 24/7 target-language live chat, median response within 2 minutes, accurate answers, written escalation and an independent ADR/regulator route. A support agent's statement never overrides current written terms.
Mobile usability & accessibility
Count seven passed checks: (A) registration, deposit, KYC, play/bet and withdrawal all work on mobile; (B) mobile LCP is 2.5s or less; (C) every offered product is reachable within 3 taps; (D) search/filtering works; (E) no blocking pop-ups; (F) Lighthouse accessibility is 80+; (G) no critical bug in a 60-minute scripted session. 1 = 0–1 checks, or any core flow in A is broken. 2 = 2–3 checks. 3 = 4–5 checks. 4 = 6 checks, with all core flows in A working. 5 = All 7 checks. Native iOS/Android, PWA and responsive web are treated equally when functionality, stability and accessibility are equal. App-store ratings are supporting evidence, not a substitute for testing.
Localization & market relevance
Count six target-market checks: (A) complete UI in target language; (B) wallet in target currency or clear conversion; (C) 2+ domestic payment methods; (D) target-language support at least 12 hours/day; (E) leading domestic sports/leagues or relevant local content; (F) local licence or market-specific terms/promotions. 1 = 0 checks. 2 = 1–2 checks. 3 = 3–4 checks. 4 = 5 checks. 5 = All 6 checks. For an English-language target market, A is automatically met. A lawful single-country operator is not penalized for lacking global reach; country count and restricted-country count are metadata, not quality points.
Bonus & promotion fairness
Where promotions are offered, count five fair-value conditions: (A) sportsbook wagering 5x or less on deposit+bonus, or casino wagering 35x or less on bonus; (B) at least 30 days to complete; (C) maximum bonus bet at least €5; (D) no cap on legitimate withdrawable winnings; (E) 5+ recurring offers or a transparent loyalty program. Terms must be linked from the offer. 1 = Predatory term: wagering above 60x, deposit locked to bonus, hidden material terms, retroactive changes, or undefined 'irregular play' used to confiscate winnings. 2 = Only 1 fair-value condition, or material terms are unclear. 3 = 2–3 fair-value conditions. 4 = 4 fair-value conditions. 5 = All 5 fair-value conditions and no predatory clause. N/A = Bonuses are prohibited in the target market or genuinely not offered. Leave unscored; absence alone is not a quality failure.
Primary product value & pricing
Score the declared primary product only and use the same snapshot time across peers in the same target market. Sportsbook: median pre-match overround on at least 20 comparable top-league events (5=≤4%; 4=>4–6%; 3=>6–8%; 2=>8–11%; 1=>11%). Esports: 10+ tier-1 match-winner markets (5=≤4%; 4=>4–5.5%; 3=>5.5–7%; 2=>7–9%; 1=>9%). Exchange: commission-adjusted effective odds. Poker: rake/cap minus effective rewards. Casino/custom: published RTP, house edge, commission or fees versus provider defaults and same-market peers. For products without the absolute bands above, convert the measured value to a same-market, same-product peer percentile: 1 = Below the 15th percentile, materially worse than peers, or pricing is undisclosed/unverifiable. 2 = 15th–39.99th percentile. 3 = 40th–69.99th percentile. 4 = 70th–89.99th percentile. 5 = 90th percentile or higher. Use the worse applicable outcome where a published price conflicts with instrumented measurement.
Primary product depth & liquidity
Score the declared primary product against operators serving the same target market. Use a fixed snapshot protocol. Sportsbook: covered events/sports/leagues and markets per sampled event. Casino: playable, non-duplicate games, identifiable providers and live tables. Poker: median concurrent players/tables/tournaments at fixed weekday/weekend peak and off-peak times, plus variants/formats. Esports: titles, tournaments and markets per tier-1 match. Custom: usable inventory, prize pools, events or liquidity. Average the applicable depth measures first, then convert the result to the peer distribution: 1 = Below the 15th percentile, or the product is listed but materially unusable. 2 = 15th–39.99th percentile. 3 = 40th–69.99th percentile. 4 = 70th–89.99th percentile. 5 = 90th percentile or higher. Local specialists are compared with the same market/product peer group, not with global all-in-one operators. Shared poker-network liquidity must be disclosed and must not be presented as exclusive to one skin.
Primary product integrity & features
Choose the five tests for the declared primary product. Sportsbook: accurate settlement, cash-out, partial cash-out, bet builder, stats/streaming/live tracker. Casino: independent audit/provably fair, RTP shown, providers identifiable, strong search/filters, useful tournaments/jackpots/demo/originals. Poker: anti-bot/collusion controls, published rake, hand histories/HUD policy, stable mobile software, security and table tools. Esports: clear settlement rules, roster/map/walkover handling, stats/streams, live tools, accurate settlement. Custom: clear rules, verifiable fairness, disclosed limits, reliable settlement and stable full-featured UI. A test passes only when it works on the reviewed domain/app; marketing claims do not count. 1 = 0–1 of the 5 tests pass, or a critical integrity failure is confirmed. 2 = 2 tests pass. 3 = 3 tests pass. 4 = 4 tests pass. 5 = All 5 tests pass and no material integrity warning applies.
Secondary products & useful features
Apply the three primary-product factors—value/pricing, depth/liquidity, and integrity/features—to every offered non-primary product. Average those three scores for each product, then average all secondary-product module scores without intermediate rounding. Products not offered are N/A, not zero. 1 = Final secondary-module average below 1.5, or any listed secondary product is materially unusable. 2 = Average 1.5–2.49. 3 = Average 2.5–3.49. 4 = Average 3.5–4.49. 5 = Average at least 4.5, with no offered secondary product below 3. N/A = The site is a genuine single-product specialist with no secondary product. Product count alone, popularity, advertising, awards and vague 'industry leader' claims never earn points; measurable quality does.

SportyBet Kenya combines a broad sportsbook, live markets and casino games with KES accounts and M-Pesa. Its main practical strengths are market choice and detailed betting tools; its limits are a single verified payment method, conditional promotion rewards and unresolved licensing disclosures. This review separates what the public service showed from account actions and transactions that were not tested.

SportyBet's Kenya service

SportyBet's Kenya service at sportybet.com/ke uses Kenyan shillings, +254 registration and M-Pesa. The fully loaded app page and help pages name Dreamhub Technology Limited with BK-0001203 and PG-0001202. A legacy SportyBet Ltd / 0000241 disclosure appeared briefly while help loaded, then changed to Dreamhub; that is evidence of an outdated loading template, not a separate confirmed current operator. The loaded footer still cites BCLB and the former 1966 Act. GRA's 2025/26 table lists Dreamhub / Sportybet, www.sportybet.com, and the newer numbers as Renewal. These are documented Kenyan licences: BK-0001203 for bookmaking and PG-0001202 for public gaming. The licence listing refers to these BCLB-era credentials, with GRA as the successor regulator. Their renewal or exact continuation under the new framework has not been independently confirmed as of 28 September 2026; that uncertainty does not establish that SportyBet has no Kenyan licence.

Kenya's Gambling Control Act 2025 replaced the former Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Act and established the GRA as BCLB's successor. The 2026 licensing regulations provided a 60-day transition for old licences; AGOK reported that the GRA varied their validity to 24 September. That date has passed, but the reported interim court protection means it cannot by itself establish that existing operators became unlicensed. AGOK reports interim High Court orders in a Murang'a case preserving existing licences and paybills pending further hearings, with a mention on 6 October; the exact Dreamhub coverage remains unverified because the order was not retrieved. Separately, the High Court allowed GRA to process new licence applications and collect contested fees while a national challenge to the fee and capital schedules continues; judgment was scheduled for 2 October, with refunds promised if the fees are later held unlawful. This does not confirm a Dreamhub licence. These developments are not a final ruling on Dreamhub's authorization. The current position remains unresolved.

The official Kenya Law PDF for Dreamhub’s High Court case identifies older licence numbers BK0000730 and PG0000491. Its search-indexed text says the court affirmed interim orders from 7 July 2025 that allowed Dreamhub to continue under those numbers and use Paybill 590555 and short code 29123 pending the petition. The primary court PDF remained unavailable; a later SheriaHub reproduction confirms the same older identifiers and interim-order wording, with the same date conflict. The indexed text dates the ruling 11 February 2026 but also dates the motion 06/07/2026, after the ruling; it elsewhere refers to a motion dated 6 July 2025. The official indexed record therefore contains an unresolved date conflict. Those older numbers do not reconcile with the 2025/26 GRA row or the legacy 0000241 template, and do not establish post-transition validity. The public service is reachable and presented as active, but current legal authorization remains unresolved in this research. Check current GRA and court notices before relying on any of the operator’s licence claims.

The service displayed an 18+ notice, Kenya contacts and Nairobi address. The Terms refer more generally to “SportyBet.com corporate entities” rather than naming Dreamhub consistently. They require one account and allow identity and source-of-funds checks. The Terms' complaints section sets a 30-day period for bet-settlement complaints. The Kenya mobile registration form requested a Kenyan number but was not submitted; no personal data was entered.

Deposits, withdrawals and limits

The operator's Kenya help lists M-Pesa Paybill 590555. Published deposits range from KES 1 to KES 250,000 per transaction; withdrawals range from KES 11 to KES 250,000. It describes 5% deductions on deposits and withdrawals and possible mobile-provider fees. These are separate charges: KRA's current guidance identifies 5% excise on betting deposits, while the Income Tax Act provides 5% withholding on punter withdrawals. The Act's withdrawal definition includes amounts paid or disbursed to a player's account, so it should not be read as applying only when money leaves for M-Pesa. Its separate 20% winnings rate concerns defined lottery and prize-competition payouts; it is not a blanket additional rate on ordinary sportsbook net wins. Actual deductions and product classification in this account were not tested. The operator requires the SportyBet username and M-Pesa number to match.

The general FAQ describes withdrawals as instant only up to KES 70,000 per day and advises contacting support if the money is not immediate. This daily instant-processing statement is separate from the per-transaction maximum. The English FAQ refers to the 5% withdrawal tax; the Swahili FAQ additionally mentions a KES 15 online withdrawal charge for amounts below KES 500. Confirm the applicable charge and timing in current help before transacting. BetAppStore did not make a deposit or withdrawal.

Operator help states a KES 1 minimum stake or ticket, but section 71 of the Gambling Control Act 2025 specifies a KES 20 minimum for online bets. This conflict remains unresolved; neither a KES 1 accepted wager nor an applicable exception was verified. The separate KES 1 deposit minimum does not establish a lawful minimum bet. Other published limits are KES 1,000,000 per ticket and KES 5,000,000 maximum payout per bet. The daily ceiling is inconsistent: the FAQ says KES 10,000,000, while Appendix Two of the Terms says KES 15,000,000 in any 24 hours. Obtain clarification before relying on either daily amount. Up to 50 selections are permitted generally and 15 on a System bet. These operator ceilings do not guarantee acceptance on every market.

Sports and live betting

The sampled Kenya sportsbook included football, basketball, tennis and table tennis. Examples included 30 or more markets on a Croatian lower-tier football match, 258–295 or more on sampled basketball fixtures, and 17–44 or more on selected tennis matches. Tennis competition listings included ATP, WTA, Challenger, ITF and UTR events. Counts and odds change, and the samples do not predict what will be available at another time.

The live lobby at the observation time listed football and simulated football, basketball, tennis, table tennis, ice hockey, handball, volleyball, baseball, badminton, futsal, rugby and Dota events. A close-time comparison of Thimphu FC v Tensung FC showed 1X2 prices of 1.10 / 6.40 / 16.00 and at least eight markets on SportyBet; Betika showed the same score and half-time state about 30 seconds later. This is a close-time comparison, not a simultaneous odds feed test. A separate live event page showed market groups for goals, corners, player/team, bookings and time-based markets plus 1UP, 2UP and Never Down labels. The inspected terms warn that live prices and markets may change or be suspended and that trackers are indicative. No stream, wager, cashout execution, accepted-bet delay or network latency was tested.

The Kenya service also publishes rules for a weekly Sporty 13 jackpot: predict the results of 13 selected matches. Official help says each full combination costs KES 50, additional combinations increase the stake, a perfect prediction shares the Super Jackpot pool, and 12- and 11-correct entries receive consolation prizes. The stated closing time is 17:00 Kenya time on Saturday; a single postponed match that does not resume within 48 hours reduces the prizes, while two or more void matches cancel the round and refund entries. The result page displayed a KES 15,000,000 pool when checked, but the pool changes by round and may be shared. No entry, bet or prize claim was made. The Kenya Lucky Numbers help, recovered on 27 September, describes fixed-odds betting on official lottery results, using UK 49s morning/evening draws as examples. Customers choose a draw and numbers, review the displayed odds and stake, then await automatic settlement from official results; an expired draw can roll to the next available one before submission, and settlement may follow the result with a delay. This is an operator-described numbers-betting product, distinct from Sporty 13 and not proof of purchasing a ticket in the underlying lottery. Current draw inventory, prices and accepted wagers were not inspected in an account.

Cashout and alternative payout structures

Cashout has specific limits: published help permits partial cashout up to ten times on singles and five on single-combination multiples, with values as low as KES 0.1. Auto Cashout supports one threshold rule per bet. Both depend on availability; price changes, suspension or technical problems can prevent execution, and erroneous settlements may be reversed. Edit Bet closes the original ticket through cashout and places an eligible modified single or multiple at current prices; System, Flexi, One Cut and gift-funded bets are excluded. One Cut offers a quoted reduced return if one selection loses but cannot be cashed out. Flexi requires a chosen number of correct selections; AnyWin requires at least one, with qualifying selection odds of 1.99 or higher. Their quoted payouts and void rules matter: recalculation can leave a return below the stake. These options change the payout structure rather than remove loss risk; no feature was executed in an account.

Current campaigns and qualification

No matching first-deposit welcome offer appeared in the public registration and promotion pages inspected. Third-party Karibu claims conflict on availability, amounts and conditions, and current official terms for those claims were not recovered. The verified Casino Cashback below is a recurring loss-based promotion, not a welcome deposit match. A deposit should not be planned around an unconfirmed signup reward.

The observed Kenya promotion surface included Casino Cashback, Aviator Missions, Sporty Hero tournament, Freebet Rains, Drops and Wins, Flexi and other cards. Casino Cashback was advertised through 31 December 2026 in the 27 September check: the sampled terms required at least KES 50 staked on casino games, returned 10% of the prior day's losses up to KES 10,000 as Free Bet Gifts by noon the following day, and limited withdrawal to winnings from those gifts; the gifts expired after seven days. Aviator Missions requires opening the challenge and selecting Join before qualifying play. It was advertised through 30 September with a KES 200,000 weekly pool and challenge windows of 10:00–13:00 and 19:00–22:00. In sampled terms, a Monday task required 60x cumulative play with a KES 50 minimum stake for KES 250 to the first 200 qualifiers; a Friday task required ten cashouts at 2x or higher in ten rounds, with the same stake, reward and winner cap. These Free Bet Gifts expired after three days. Check each offer's current dates and complete terms; visibility of a card does not mean every account qualifies.

Other campaigns need a closer look at how rewards are paid. Sporty Hero requires an in-game Join action and real-money bets cashed out at 1.2x or higher. Although its headline calls the rewards cash, the terms specify Hero-only Free Bet Gifts expiring after four days. Freebet Rains adds a race to claim: qualifying play must meet a tier's wagering amount and cash out above 1.1x before a random drop; gifts then go to a limited number of first claimants and expire after seven days. Both pages state 31 December 2026 as the end date. Neither qualifying play nor a leaderboard entry guarantees an award.

Pragmatic Play's Drops & Wins page states an end date of 3 March 2027. Its weekly wheel requires three random pieces and permits at most two prizes per week; the daily tournament requires opt-in and counts only the first 5,000 spins. The daily prize table totals KES 3 million across 500 places. The TaDa Halloween page runs to 4 November 2026 and awards game-specific Win Cards to the top 800 daily, but its Kenya page's Play Now links pointed to the Tanzania route when checked. That mismatch leaves the correct Kenya participation route uncertain. Campaign pool headlines are shared promotion amounts, not money promised to each player; inspect the current in-game rules before spending to qualify.

Sports features have narrower eligibility than their headlines suggest. The 2UP promotion, dated through 31 December 2026, applies to selected pre-match football 1X2-2UP markets, not every match-result bet. A two-goal lead settles the selected leg; full cashout removes eligibility and partial cashout leaves only the remaining stake eligible. Live Odds Boost applies once to an eligible live single marked with its icon, excluding multiple and System bets. No universal boost percentage is published on its explanation page.

Casino games and their loss mechanics

The casino lobby included slots, crash, jackpot, quick games, cards, arcade, virtual games and named titles such as Red-Black, Mayan Ancient Riches, Sugar Dash, Sporty Jet, Sporty Hero, Galaxy Go and Blackjack. Numeric RTP was not published on the inspected cards. The lobby and titles do not establish independent certification or fairness settings.

Some games have materially different mechanics from an ordinary sports bet. Sporty Soccer offers up to ten one-shot rounds: after a successful shot on rounds 1–9, a customer can cash out or restake the accumulated winnings to challenge again. A miss loses the initial stake and current accumulated winnings; the operator says UFO or lightning events cause a miss regardless of aim on 10% of shots on average. The rules require an unfinished round to be completed within 14 days or say the stake is forfeited. Red Black uses a 52-card deck plus an unspecified number of green jokers; a green joker loses the turn, wins pay 2x, and the next consecutive turn's minimum stake increases to that payout. The rules do not publish the number of jokers or enough settlement detail to calculate exact odds or RTP.

Goal Rush uses Power, Speed and Control progress rings, cashout, a bonus game, a seven-team collection reward and a stated 1000x round-win cap. However, its public page still displays template placeholders for RTP, bet limits, multipliers and retention time. Those missing values prevent a reliable expected-return or risk calculation. No independent provider, game-specific certification or Kenya customer evidence for these original games was found. Their challenge, restaking and accumulation mechanics can put more money at risk than a single one-shot bet; check the current game rules and amounts before playing.

Apps and customer evidence

The official Kenya App page offers Android for Android 7.0 or later and an iOS App Store link. Its download instructions are to open Mobile from the homepage, then use the QR code, the download button or the phone address sporty.bet/keapp, and install on the device. The page does not show a Google Play button; the separately verified Play listing is an additional distribution source. Use the official Kenya download page for the operator-hosted Android route. No APK was downloaded or inspected, and the readable help did not provide a detailed device-permission walkthrough.

The Kenya app research identified a Google Play listing with Android package com.sportybet.android.gp.ke and Apple product ID 1504038308. Google Play identifies Sporty Group and its text still displays older licence numbers BK 0000730 and PG 0000491. The live site footer shows BK-0001203 and PG-0001202. The refreshed Apple Kenya storefront lists the same stable product ID; the 27 September 2026 observation shows version 1.220.0 and a listed size of 235.7 MB. The page labels Sporty Internet Group as Developer and Sporty Internet Limited as Provider. Google Play's older licence numbers differ from the current site footer; Apple's description lists several country regulators but does not name Kenya. The Apple ID is a shared SportyBet app identity seen across storefronts; the Kenya storefront link does not establish that every country has the same service or app availability.

Kenya Play reviews include praise for Bet Builder, market choice and live viewing, alongside a May 2026 complaint alleging that cashout was unavailable near likely wins. The developer replied that cashout is system-generated and varies. A separate BusinessList review dated 11 October 2025 alleges that the user's bet slips were changed and their account frozen; it is one unverified user report, and the rest of that small profile's reviews predate the 2025 relaunch. Local review-site checks add useful context but not a representative payout sample: BetZillion reports a ten-EPL-fixture mean margin and M-Pesa use in a Kenya review, while its snapshot and affiliate/editorial context do not make it a same-time 20-event test; WhoPays gives minute ranges and a provisional score but does not expose a reproducible Kenya withdrawal sample and conflicts with operator details on fees and other conditions; ChampsBase explicitly says it funded Nigeria only and leaves Kenya as desk research; Afroduma and TopBets contain stale or contradictory licensing and promotion information. Treat all these as dated secondary evidence with those limits. Do not turn the single app-store allegation, global review aggregates or secondary payout estimates into verified frequencies or measured BetAppStore outcomes.

Registration and account recovery

Official Kenya help describes registration as selecting Register, entering a phone number and password, entering the OTP sent to that phone and submitting the form. The desktop dialog showed +254 Mobile Number and Set Password fields plus a terms-acceptance and 18+ notice. The earlier mobile form used a staged Next step. The Terms also say registration automatically creates a linked SportySocial page with an assigned username. These screens and instructions were inspected without entering personal data or submitting a registration; OTP delivery, later identity checks and account creation were not tested. Registration is described as free. An older Swahili FAQ also describes SMS registration through 29123, but delivery and any carrier cost were not verified. For password recovery, the operator directs users to Forgot Password; forgotten usernames go to support.

Safer gambling and complaints

The operator's Kenya responsible-gambling material links to GamHelp Kenya and publishes support numbers 0800-000-023, +254 700 656 284 and +254 725 492 006. Its rules describe fixed-period self-exclusion that cannot be lifted early, prohibit opening a replacement account, and explain that eligible remaining balances may still be withdrawn while unstaked funds can be subject to risk procedures. These are operator-published conditions; check the exact current process before making a request.

For an account or bet issue, retain the transaction or bet reference and contact 0207640825 or kenya.support@sportybet.com. The Terms provide 30 days to raise bet-settlement complaints, describe company-first escalation followed by arbitration without naming an institution, and specify Kenyan law and courts. They also allow reversal of erroneous credits and charges for withdrawing an unplayed deposit; neither clause establishes what will happen in a particular case. The public material reviewed does not show how an individual complaint will be resolved. If unresolved, check the Gambling Regulatory Authority's current complaint process and contacts directly; the operator's old BCLB wording should not be treated as an up-to-date regulator directory.
