Modern Features
Pros
- The local operator site publishes Mozambique-specific MZN betting limits, M-Pesa guidance, terms, support and responsible-gambling information.
- Public rules explain live-betting caveats and the mechanics of named original-style games rather than giving only promotional descriptions.
- Published cashout, early-settlement and flexible-ticket rules explain useful choices and their restrictions.
Cons
- Licence 041/IGJ/JDS/2025 is displayed, but IGJ lists Sporty Bet, Lda as licensed inoperative without that number or a status explanation.
- Help pages conflict on stake ceilings, selection counts and Flexi cashout; Daily Rain's advertised pools also disagree with its gift arithmetic.
- The official Android download page gives installation routes but no verified package/version identity. No Mozambique Apple or Google Play listing was confirmed.
- No attributable local customer-review pool or reproducible payout test was found; configured game RTP and independent certification remain unverified.
Payment Methods
Available Products
Changing multi-sport inventory, extensive named market groups and a working live tracker were observed. Cashout, partial cashout and special-market rules are published, with suspension and pricing-error caveats. No stream, accepted bet, cashout or latency test.
The public catalogue lists vFootball and the local loyalty programme identifies Instant Virtual. This supports product presence, not a verified RNG audit, numerical local return, game execution or product-specific authorization.
Football, basketball, tennis and cricket catalogues were sampled. Twenty standard pre-match football 1X2 markets had 5.00% median displayed overround on 28 September 2026. Sporty 12 is a paid match-prediction jackpot; displayed depth does not prove accepted wagers.
The live catalogue displayed Counter-Strike and separately labelled eFootball/eBasketball categories. Current event counts are transient; exact-tier market depth, comparative prices and accepted bets were not verified.
The Scratch category listed Queen of Gold 100,000, Wolf Gold 1,000,000 and Mines. Exact local paytables were login-gated. Dated provider scratch rules establish mechanics only; local ticket price, prize currency, RTP and certification remain unverified.
Current crash titles include Sporty Cars and Sporty Skills. Guest rules expose stake/payout limits, auto-play and cashout caveats; Cars adds progression rewards. No independently reproduced fairness, local numerical RTP or successful wager is claimed.
Mozambique sports and games use MZN and M-Pesa. The operator displays a licence and active services, while IGJ lists Sporty Bet, Lda as licensed but inoperative. Authorization remains unresolved.
- Mozambique-only service; MZN accounts
- M-Pesa is the only disclosed two-way payment method
- Official Android download page; store identity unresolved
- IGJ status conflicts with the operating public interface
Rating Scorecard
How we rate
Each factor below is scored from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) by our editorial team.
- Licensing & jurisdiction fit
- Scope: score the exact domain/app for the target jurisdiction. Verify the licence in the regulator's public register and confirm that the registered domains include the reviewed domain. Use BetAppStore's maintained, versioned licence-tier list. 1 = No licence, or the relevant licence is revoked or suspended. 2 = A licence is claimed but is expired, cannot be verified, or the validation seal does not resolve to the operator/domain. 3 = A valid Tier-3/offshore licence is verifiable in a public register, but player recourse and market-specific protection are limited. 4 = A valid Tier-1 or Tier-2 licence exists but was not issued for the target market, or a target-market Tier-2 licence applies. 5 = A valid Tier-1 licence explicitly covers the target market, operator and exact reviewed domain/app. Child/local versions are always checked separately for local authorization; a parent licence is not automatically inherited.
- Ownership & track record
- Check the operating company, parent, corporate registry, beneficial ownership, years since launch, regulatory history and supported unresolved confiscation/non-payment cases from the last 24 months. 1 = Operator identity cannot be verified; or the brand is blacklisted; or there is a confirmed mass non-payment event or more than 15 supported unresolved fund cases. 2 = Company is named but not verifiable, ownership is materially opaque/nominee-only, the brand is under 1 year old, or there are 6–15 supported unresolved cases. 3 = Company is registry-verified, owners may be undisclosed, brand has operated 2–4 years, and there is no mass incident; no more than 5 supported unresolved cases. 4 = Company and controlling owners are verifiable, brand has operated 5–7 years, is not blacklisted, and has no more than 2 supported unresolved cases. 5 = Public/audited company or named beneficial owners, 8+ years operating, no material regulator sanction and no supported unresolved fund case in 24 months. A child brand may inherit group ownership, age and group-wide incidents; its own local incidents override inherited history.
- Player funds & game fairness
- Count four safeguards: (A) independent RNG/game audit or a public provably-fair verifier; (B) per-game RTP/rules disclosure; (C) segregated player funds or public proof of reserves; (D) independent ADR plus a supported complaint-resolution rate of at least 80% over 24 months where a meaningful sample exists. 1 = None of the four; or a failed unresolved BetAppStore withdrawal; or a regulator finding for withheld player funds or unfair games. 2 = Exactly 1 safeguard, with no verified non-payment event in the last 24 months. 3 = Exactly 2 safeguards, including A. 4 = Exactly 3 safeguards, including A. 5 = All 4 safeguards are current and independently verifiable. Operator marketing claims do not count as evidence. Official records and instrumented tests override lower-level sources.
- Account security
- Advanced controls are: login alerts, active device/session list, withdrawal-address whitelist, withdrawal lock/delay, and a clearly documented account-recovery process. Score controls available to ordinary users on the reviewed domain/app. 1 = Password-only protection, or a serious confirmed security failure remains unresolved. 2 = No user 2FA, but every withdrawal requires an email or SMS confirmation. 3 = User-controlled 2FA is available, with no additional advanced control. 4 = 2FA plus 1 advanced control. 5 = 2FA plus at least 2 advanced controls; sensitive changes and withdrawals are re-authenticated. HTTPS alone is mandatory baseline security and does not raise the score.
- Responsible gambling
- Count only working account tools: deposit limit, loss limit, wager limit, session/time limit, reality check, cooling-off/time-out, self-exclusion, self-assessment, and a target-market help-organization link. 1 = 0 working tools. 2 = 1 working tool. 3 = 2–3 working tools. 4 = 4–5 working tools. 5 = 6 or more working tools, including self-exclusion and at least one money limit. A policy page or marketing claim does not count unless the control is usable from the reviewed account.
- Payout reliability & speed
- Measure request-to-funds-received time using the median of 3 comparable withdrawals on the fastest normally available method. Record method, amount, timestamps, KYC status and failures. Measured results override 'instant payout' advertising. 1 = More than 5 business days; or a failed unresolved test; or a supported pattern of systematic delays/confiscation. Missing verifiable payout evidence also scores 1, not N/A. 2 = More than 48 hours and up to 5 business days, or a fixed pending period above 48 hours. 3 = More than 12 hours and up to 48 hours. 4 = More than 1 hour and up to 12 hours. 5 = 1 hour or less, processed 24/7, with all 3 tests completed and no unexplained reversal or failure.
- Fees, minimums & limits
- Score four applicable subtests separately, then average without intermediate rounding and round the final factor to the nearest whole score: operator fees on main methods; minimum withdrawal; monthly withdrawal cap; maximum sportsbook payout or casino win cap. Convert to EUR at the snapshot date. Mark a genuinely irrelevant subtest N/A. 1 = Fees above 5% or undisclosed; minimum above €100; monthly cap below €5,000; or maximum payout below €25,000. 2 = Main-method fees above 2% to 5%; minimum €51–100; cap €5,000–19,999; or maximum payout €25,000–99,999. 3 = Fees up to 2% or a material dormancy fee; minimum €31–50; cap €20,000–49,999; or maximum payout €100,000–249,999. 4 = No operator fee on main methods; minimum €11–30; cap €50,000–99,999; or maximum payout €250,000–999,999. 5 = No operator fees on any normal method; minimum €10 or less; no monthly cap or cap at least €100,000; and maximum payout at least €1,000,000 or no cap. If subtests land in different bands, use their mean; do not choose only the best condition.
- KYC predictability & privacy
- Measure verification effort, speed, disclosure and secure data handling—not whether KYC exists. Lawful, predictable KYC can score highly. Record requirements disclosed before deposit, accepted documents, triggers, secure upload route and median completion time. 1 = Supported evidence that KYC is used to stall/refuse legitimate payouts; verification exceeds 7 days without cause; documents are handled insecurely; or no meaningful privacy policy exists. 2 = More than 72 hours; repeated or duplicate requests; unexplained source-of-funds checks on withdrawals below €5,000; or broad marketing-partner data sharing. 3 = Required at signup or first withdrawal, completed within 72 hours, with a clear document list and privacy policy. 4 = Required only at a disclosed trigger/first withdrawal, completed within 24 hours, with secure upload and specific rejection reasons. 5 = No mandatory document KYC below a stated cumulative threshold of at least €2,000, OR automated e-ID completes within 15 minutes; triggers and privacy terms are clear and data collection is minimized.
- Payment methods & market fit
- Count only payment categories that users in the target market can use for both deposit and withdrawal: cards; bank/instant banking; e-wallets; domestic methods; crypto; prepaid/vouchers. For crypto-first sites also record supported coins/networks and a fiat on/off-ramp. 1 = Only 1 usable category, or deposit and withdrawal routes are incompatible, or networks/fees are materially undisclosed. 2 = 2 usable categories. 3 = 3 usable categories; for crypto-first sites, 3–4 supported coins with disclosed networks. 4 = 4 usable categories including a leading domestic method in the primary market; for crypto-first sites, 5–7 coins. 5 = At least 5 usable categories including a leading domestic method in every declared target market; for crypto-first sites, 8+ coins plus a usable fiat on/off-ramp. Do not reward a long global list when those methods are unavailable in the reviewed market.
- Customer support & dispute resolution
- Run 3 timed tests using standard questions about KYC, withdrawals, settlement, complaints and self-exclusion. Compare answers with written terms. Record hours, language, first-response time, accuracy, complaint escalation and independent ADR/regulator access. 1 = No working support channel, median response exceeds 24 hours, or no public complaint route. 2 = Email/ticket only, answered within 24 hours, with a basic complaint route. 3 = Working live chat with limited hours or median response within 15 minutes, plus documented escalation. 4 = 24/7 live chat in the primary-market language, median response within 5 minutes, accurate answers and a formal complaint process. 5 = 24/7 target-language live chat, median response within 2 minutes, accurate answers, written escalation and an independent ADR/regulator route. A support agent's statement never overrides current written terms.
- Mobile usability & accessibility
- Count seven passed checks: (A) registration, deposit, KYC, play/bet and withdrawal all work on mobile; (B) mobile LCP is 2.5s or less; (C) every offered product is reachable within 3 taps; (D) search/filtering works; (E) no blocking pop-ups; (F) Lighthouse accessibility is 80+; (G) no critical bug in a 60-minute scripted session. 1 = 0–1 checks, or any core flow in A is broken. 2 = 2–3 checks. 3 = 4–5 checks. 4 = 6 checks, with all core flows in A working. 5 = All 7 checks. Native iOS/Android, PWA and responsive web are treated equally when functionality, stability and accessibility are equal. App-store ratings are supporting evidence, not a substitute for testing.
- Localization & market relevance
- Count six target-market checks: (A) complete UI in target language; (B) wallet in target currency or clear conversion; (C) 2+ domestic payment methods; (D) target-language support at least 12 hours/day; (E) leading domestic sports/leagues or relevant local content; (F) local licence or market-specific terms/promotions. 1 = 0 checks. 2 = 1–2 checks. 3 = 3–4 checks. 4 = 5 checks. 5 = All 6 checks. For an English-language target market, A is automatically met. A lawful single-country operator is not penalized for lacking global reach; country count and restricted-country count are metadata, not quality points.
- Bonus & promotion fairness
- Where promotions are offered, count five fair-value conditions: (A) sportsbook wagering 5x or less on deposit+bonus, or casino wagering 35x or less on bonus; (B) at least 30 days to complete; (C) maximum bonus bet at least €5; (D) no cap on legitimate withdrawable winnings; (E) 5+ recurring offers or a transparent loyalty program. Terms must be linked from the offer. 1 = Predatory term: wagering above 60x, deposit locked to bonus, hidden material terms, retroactive changes, or undefined 'irregular play' used to confiscate winnings. 2 = Only 1 fair-value condition, or material terms are unclear. 3 = 2–3 fair-value conditions. 4 = 4 fair-value conditions. 5 = All 5 fair-value conditions and no predatory clause. N/A = Bonuses are prohibited in the target market or genuinely not offered. Leave unscored; absence alone is not a quality failure.
- Primary product value & pricing
- Score the declared primary product only and use the same snapshot time across peers in the same target market. Sportsbook: median pre-match overround on at least 20 comparable top-league events (5=≤4%; 4=>4–6%; 3=>6–8%; 2=>8–11%; 1=>11%). Esports: 10+ tier-1 match-winner markets (5=≤4%; 4=>4–5.5%; 3=>5.5–7%; 2=>7–9%; 1=>9%). Exchange: commission-adjusted effective odds. Poker: rake/cap minus effective rewards. Casino/custom: published RTP, house edge, commission or fees versus provider defaults and same-market peers. For products without the absolute bands above, convert the measured value to a same-market, same-product peer percentile: 1 = Below the 15th percentile, materially worse than peers, or pricing is undisclosed/unverifiable. 2 = 15th–39.99th percentile. 3 = 40th–69.99th percentile. 4 = 70th–89.99th percentile. 5 = 90th percentile or higher. Use the worse applicable outcome where a published price conflicts with instrumented measurement.
- Primary product depth & liquidity
- Score the declared primary product against operators serving the same target market. Use a fixed snapshot protocol. Sportsbook: covered events/sports/leagues and markets per sampled event. Casino: playable, non-duplicate games, identifiable providers and live tables. Poker: median concurrent players/tables/tournaments at fixed weekday/weekend peak and off-peak times, plus variants/formats. Esports: titles, tournaments and markets per tier-1 match. Custom: usable inventory, prize pools, events or liquidity. Average the applicable depth measures first, then convert the result to the peer distribution: 1 = Below the 15th percentile, or the product is listed but materially unusable. 2 = 15th–39.99th percentile. 3 = 40th–69.99th percentile. 4 = 70th–89.99th percentile. 5 = 90th percentile or higher. Local specialists are compared with the same market/product peer group, not with global all-in-one operators. Shared poker-network liquidity must be disclosed and must not be presented as exclusive to one skin.
- Primary product integrity & features
- Choose the five tests for the declared primary product. Sportsbook: accurate settlement, cash-out, partial cash-out, bet builder, stats/streaming/live tracker. Casino: independent audit/provably fair, RTP shown, providers identifiable, strong search/filters, useful tournaments/jackpots/demo/originals. Poker: anti-bot/collusion controls, published rake, hand histories/HUD policy, stable mobile software, security and table tools. Esports: clear settlement rules, roster/map/walkover handling, stats/streams, live tools, accurate settlement. Custom: clear rules, verifiable fairness, disclosed limits, reliable settlement and stable full-featured UI. A test passes only when it works on the reviewed domain/app; marketing claims do not count. 1 = 0–1 of the 5 tests pass, or a critical integrity failure is confirmed. 2 = 2 tests pass. 3 = 3 tests pass. 4 = 4 tests pass. 5 = All 5 tests pass and no material integrity warning applies.
- Secondary products & useful features
- Apply the three primary-product factors—value/pricing, depth/liquidity, and integrity/features—to every offered non-primary product. Average those three scores for each product, then average all secondary-product module scores without intermediate rounding. Products not offered are N/A, not zero. 1 = Final secondary-module average below 1.5, or any listed secondary product is materially unusable. 2 = Average 1.5–2.49. 3 = Average 2.5–3.49. 4 = Average 3.5–4.49. 5 = Average at least 4.5, with no offered secondary product below 3. N/A = The site is a genuine single-product specialist with no secondary product. Product count alone, popularity, advertising, awards and vague 'industry leader' claims never earn points; measurable quality does.
SportyBet Mozambique combines a local M-Pesa account, sports markets and fast multiplier games. Its public service was displaying live prices on 28 September 2026, but the regulator's listing and the operator's current presentation disagree about operating status. That unresolved difference is the first issue to check before considering its app, promotions or betting features.
The Mozambique service and its unresolved status
The Mozambique site uses sportybet.co.mz/mz and publishes local MZN terms, help, payment instructions and an Android-download page. Its footer claims licence 041/IGJ/JDS/2025. The IGJ's licensed-entity table, read directly on 28 September, places Sporty Bet, Lda in the “Licenciada inoperacional” column, meaning licensed but inoperative. Row 31 leaves the brand, licence number, dates and reason blank. It neither matches the displayed number nor says the licence was revoked. Meanwhile, current sports prices and a working live tracker were visible, and the operator's technical dashboard reported login, betting, cashout and payments as operational. These are distinct observations: a functioning public interface and the company's own uptime figures cannot resolve the regulator's status or prove successful transactions. A secondary directory's “licensed, operating” description supplies no matching record or explanation. Current authorization therefore remains unresolved and should be checked with IGJ.
In July 2026, contemporaneous reporting said the Cabinet approved a separate regulation for electronic or computer-based games of chance. An exact-title search of the official Gazette publisher's indexed records found no matching instrument: the July 14 index entry records a separate delegation concerning social and amusement games, and the July 16 decree summary lists other instruments. IGJ's September 17 statement still says the new framework is being advanced. The indexed record checked through September 26 does not establish whether or when the regulation was promulgated or took effect. The IGJ's current guidance describes online sports betting and social/amusement games, while the older games-of-chance law and virtual-casino regulation contain different remote-gambling provisions. Do not treat Cabinet approval alone as proof that a new law took effect or that a particular SportyBet product is authorized under it.
M-Pesa, limits and withdrawals
SportyBet's Mozambique Help page identifies Mpesa mobile money as its only current deposit and withdrawal operator. It publishes a MZN 5–125,000 deposit range and MZN 100–125,000 withdrawal range, says both are free, and describes deposits and ordinary withdrawals as generally immediate. It says pending withdrawals may be manually reviewed within three working days. These are operator Help statements, not a live cashier capture or tested transaction. The Help page's broad reference to “Bank account” conflicts with its more specific payment page and the local Terms' requirement to use the registered mobile number; the exact M-Pesa disclosure is the better-supported local method. Do not infer e-Mola, M-Kesh, bank transfer or card availability from their presence in Mozambique.
The local FAQ lists a MZN 1 minimum ticket stake, a MZN 200,000 maximum sports ticket stake, maximum payouts of MZN 3,000,000 per sports bet, MZN 1,500,000 per games bet and MZN 6,000,000 per customer per day, and up to 50 selections (15 for system bets). A current public Sports Help page instead says the total stake must be MZN 1–2,000,000 and limits the betslip to 30 selections. The Terms give a MZN 1 minimum bet, MZN 3,000,000 maximum winnings per bet and MZN 6,000,000 daily maximum potential winnings per customer in any 24-hour period; the FAQ clarifies a lower cap for games. These first-party statements conflict on the stake ceiling and selection count. Check the live betslip and current rules; no ticket or payment was submitted.
The operator says customer funds are held in separate designated accounts and protected on insolvency, but no named bank or independently verified safeguarding arrangement was supplied. The Terms permit reasonable payment-cost recovery when a deposit has not been played through, qualifying Help's general free-of-charge wording. Age, identity and address checks can occur at registration or later, with restrictions while review is pending. Deposits and withdrawals must use the registered mobile number. Keep transaction references: the company's server record controls its stated dispute process, and bet complaints must be raised within 30 days. Unresolved disputes go to an unnamed arbiter and then Mozambique courts; the public Terms do not provide a practical independent arbitration filing route.
How the published payment process works
The deposit guide says to select M-Pesa, enter an amount, choose Top Up Now and complete the authorization on the phone before checking confirmation. For withdrawal, it directs customers to My Account > Withdraw, select M-Pesa, enter the amount and check recipient details before submitting. Help expressly describes MZN 125,000 as a per-transaction maximum, which does not establish a daily allowance. It warns that suspected money laundering, moving money through an account without betting, numerous recipients or excessive withdrawal requests can trigger review. These are instructions and contractual restrictions; we did not submit a transaction.
Sports and live betting
The public Mozambique sports pages displayed football, basketball, tennis and cricket listings. Football covered international club competitions and foreign domestic leagues with match-result, totals, handicap and other markets. Moçambola did not appear in the sampled league list; this does not establish permanent absence. Tennis included ATP, WTA, ITF, Challenger, UTR and Billie Jean King Cup groups; basketball included major international leagues; cricket offered live and scheduled matches with sport-specific totals. These are dated catalogue observations, not accepted-wager tests. The Mozambican Football Federation identifies Moçambola as the country's top football competition, making actual domestic coverage worth checking separately from a large international menu.
At approximately 00:24 UTC on 28 September, we recorded complete standard 1X2 prices for 20 displayed pre-match fixtures: ten Premier League and ten LaLiga matches. The median overround was 5.00%, with individual results from 4.58% to 5.24%. Overround is the sum of the three implied probabilities minus 100%; it measures the margin built into those quoted markets, not a customer's expected profit or a measured site-wide return. The sampled event cards advertised 287–344 additional markets. This provides concrete evidence of substantial football choice and the displayed pricing at that moment, but no simultaneous Mozambique competitor sample or bet acceptance was tested.
The live page on 28 September showed 15 football, 16 basketball, two tennis and two cricket events, alongside other sports and separately labelled virtual/esports categories. These counts change with the schedule. CSB Atenas versus Sportivo General San Martin Formosa had a working tracker at approximately 74 minutes, score 0–1, with 1X2 prices of 22.00/4.10/1.23 and a 1.5-goal total priced 2.15/1.60. Main, goals, half, bookings, corners and special-market groups were visible. Earlier tracker failure was a dated observation, not a persistent condition. Prices changed between snapshots, but this was no controlled latency or pricing comparison. The live guide warns that trackers can be wrong and do not determine settlement; markets can suspend and acceptance can be delayed. No wager, stream or cashout execution was tested.
Cashout and early-settlement choices
Cashout is discretionary on selected markets, from MZN 1. Partial cashout is described as available up to ten times on singles and five on a multiple containing one combination. Auto Cashout uses one threshold per bet; market closure, changing odds and technical issues can prevent it from executing. Suspension may reduce the offer, and erroneous or late cashouts can be reversed. Edit Bet uses cashout to replace an eligible single or multiple at current prices, excluding System, Flexi, One Cut and gift-funded tickets. These tools offer choices when available, not a guaranteed way to exit a bet.
In designated football markets, 1UP settles a selected team after a one-goal lead and 2UP after a two-goal lead. The current 2UP promotion is for selected pre-match 1X2-2UP markets through 31 December 2026; full cashout removes eligibility and partial cashout leaves only the remaining stake. A winning leg does not settle other legs in a multiple. Never Down is different: the selected team must win without ever trailing, so a comeback win can still lose this market. Prices can differ from ordinary 1X2. Football generally settles on 90 minutes plus added time, with a 48-hour postponement window under the reviewed rules. Obvious-error remedies are inconsistent: one Terms clause permits voiding while another uses a revised price. Keep the exact market rules and ticket record rather than assuming one remedy.
Promotions and games
The current promotion list was checked on 28 September. Its casino cashback offers 10% of the previous day's qualifying loss, up to MZN 2,000 daily, after at least MZN 10 staked on listed games. The award is a Free Bet Gift credited the next day, usable for seven days; the gift itself cannot be withdrawn, although resulting winnings may be. Gift-funded play does not count towards qualifying losses. The stated campaign end is 30 September 2026. Household, phone, payment, IP and device duplication restrictions apply, and the public page does not fully explain the net-loss calculation. This is restricted gambling credit linked to losses, not a cash refund or a reason to increase stakes. No matching new-customer welcome offer appeared in the registration step inspected.
Daily Rain was also still promoted on 28 September, with the same 30 September end date. It distributes random MZN 5 gifts in the chat for Hero, Kick, Jet and Aviator. Qualifying play requires MZN 25 staked in the preceding 60 minutes for Hero/Kick/Jet or 30 minutes for Aviator, with a qualifying cashout coefficient around 1.10x under the stated conditions. Gifts expire after 120 minutes for Hero/Kick/Jet and 30 for Aviator. The MZN 100,000 headline is a shared pool, not an individual award, and the page's figures do not reconcile: 300 gifts × MZN 5 × 20 drops equals MZN 30,000, whereas Jet and Aviator are each advertised at MZN 35,000. Later daily-entitlement wording is also unclear. Read the current claim conditions and do not rely on the headline as a guaranteed distribution.
Flexible tickets and boosted odds
Sporty 12 is a separate football-prediction jackpot. The public page showed a closed round with a MZN 1,000,000 headline and prizes for 11 or 10 correct outcomes. Published entry cost is MZN 5 per combination across 12 matches; selecting multiple outcomes increases the number of combinations and total cost. Jackpot Rush supplies random selections, not better odds. Submitted entries cannot be amended or cancelled. Two or more void matches cancel the round and refund stakes; the one-void rule reduces prize tiers but leaves its correct-prediction labels unclear. The public results page lists match outcomes without establishing paid winners, prize sharing or the expected value of an entry.
Sporty Loyalty links tier progress to monthly and lifetime wagering. Copper, for example, lists MZN 125 monthly and MZN 2,500 lifetime wagering, while Titanium lists MZN 300,000 and MZN 6,000,000. Missing the monthly target twice can lower a tier. Although the page advertises percentage-based rewards, its terms leave the accumulation ratio and an eligibility cutoff based on player returns unspecified. A football mini-game determines the final reward, which may be below the displayed potential amount or zero. Rewards are Free Bet Gifts with claim deadlines, and an upgrade gift is awarded only once per tier. This is not guaranteed cash rakeback; increasing stakes to maintain status creates additional exposure that a reward headline does not offset.
Flexi requires at least three selections from different events and pays the quoted fixed return once the chosen minimum number win; additional correct selections do not increase that quoted return. One Cut trades some all-win return for a quoted payment if exactly one selection loses. AnyWin's local Help describes a fixed return when at least one selection wins. All can be recalculated after void selections, sometimes below the stake. One Cut excludes cashout and Gifts. Flexi's dedicated promotion and newer Help section allow cashout, but an earlier Flexible Bet section on the same Help page says the opposite. Availability therefore needs checking on the actual ticket. These are differently priced bets, not insurance or guaranteed stake protection.
Live Odds Boost applies to marked live events and markets, on singles once per ticket; the customer must activate the boost and accept the changed odds. There is no verified universal uplift percentage. Separately, Help describes a dynamic multibet bonus for at least two qualifying selections, generally at odds of 1.2 or greater, from up to 3% for two selections to an advertised maximum of 1,000% as selections increase. League and market choices affect the calculation. Neither an “up to” rate nor a fixed-return feature establishes better value without comparing the actual quoted price and conditions.
The local rules describe both Sporty Hero and Sporty Kick as crash games: a customer stakes before the round, watches a multiplier rise, then cashes out to receive stake × the selected multiplier; if the round ends first, the stake is lost. Both allow up to two bets at once, repeat Auto Bet and Auto Cashout. Sporty Hero says its “provably fair” random-number generator sets the crash multiplier before each round and points to settings plus a round-history fairness icon for checking results. Those are operator claims and an advertised verification route; the algorithm, seed inputs and independent audit were not verified. Kick's current local rules state a coefficient range from 1.00x to 100,000,000x but do not describe a comparable fairness verifier. Both rules say free-bet gifts cannot be mixed with cash stake, and One-Tap Bet removes the confirmation step. The rules refer to a Game Limits panel for minimum stake, maximum stake and maximum payout, but those numeric local limits were not exposed in the readable public text. No RTP, probability distribution, house edge, external certification, custody detail, or product-specific dispute path was found. A maximum coefficient is not an RTP or expected return. The fast repeated-bet and no-confirmation options may increase the risk of rapid repeated losses; no game round or wager was made.
Sporty Cars adds levels and retention rewards to the same basic crash mechanism. Its public rules say repeated betting rounds unlock cars and may award Free Bet Gifts; completing a bonus meter can add a percentage to a successful bonus-round cashout. Progress resets after an in-game inactivity period, while previously earned level gifts are not awarded twice. Exact round requirements, bonus percentages and reset duration were not exposed in the rule text reviewed. This progression encourages repeated play without establishing a better expected return. It is a gambling product with car imagery, not a demonstrated driving-skill contest.
The Cars screen showed MZN 1–2,000 stakes and a MZN 2,500,000 maximum payout per bet. That exceeds the general FAQ's MZN 1,500,000 games cap, so the published limits are inconsistent. Its Game Limits panel says cashout occurs automatically at the cap but warns that this will not happen if the internet connection fails or the customer exits the game. Its fairness panel displays a server-seed commitment and says the result combines that seed with three player seeds, with the server generating any missing seeds. We opened the explanation, but did not independently reproduce a completed round or establish a numerical RTP, house edge or external audit. Neither a maximum multiplier nor the phrase “provably fair” supplies those missing facts.
Sporty Skills uses football juggling as the animation for another crash game. Its rules require cashout before the ball drops; the name does not establish that football skill determines the outcome. The guest screen showed MZN 1–7,500 stakes and a MZN 750,000 maximum payout per bet, with up to two bets, auto-repeat and target cashout. Like Cars, its limit notice warns about automatic cashout when the connection fails or the game is exited. These title-specific values must not be generalized to other games.
The Scratch category displayed Queen of Gold 100,000, Wolf Gold 1,000,000 and Mines. Queen required login before its local paytable could be inspected. A dated Pragmatic Play rules document describes the Queen and Wolf titles as RNG scratch tickets: reveal a 3×3 grid, match three values and receive at most one prize per ticket. It does not establish Mozambique ticket prices, prize currency or RTP. The numbers in the titles are therefore not verified MZN prizes. Indexed Sugar Dash and LALIGA Frenzy pages redirected to the lobby and returned no matching current search result; their placeholder rule text cannot establish an available slots catalogue.
Trader was listed but also required login. SPRIBE's product page for Trader describes a chart-themed crash game and publishes a 97% reference RTP. The local game build, provider association, limits and configured return could not be confirmed behind the login boundary. The URL segment “turbo-games” does not itself identify a provider, and chart imagery is not evidence of trading real financial assets. Provider reference RTP describes a theoretical long-run model, not a promise for one session or proof of the deployed local setting.
The main game tradeoff is clear from the accessible rules: rapid rounds, auto-repeat and progression rewards can encourage repeated stakes, while exact return and certification evidence remains incomplete. Game-specific limits conflict with general help, and the general licence disclosure does not settle every product's authorization. These findings support checking the exact title's rules and regulatory status before relying on a theme, maximum multiplier or reward headline.
App identity and customer evidence
The official Mozambique app page offers Android for Android 7.0 or later. Its instructions provide a download button, QR route and phone-browser address sporty.bet/mzapp. Use that official page as the acquisition starting point. It does not expose a verified current package, version or signing identity in the public text reviewed. No official Mozambique Apple App Store or Google Play identity was confirmed, and another country's store listing should not be treated as a local alternative. We did not download or inspect an APK, install the app or test its advertised notifications and cashout features.
Registration, login and personal information
The public registration form asks for first and last name, date of birth, a +258 mobile number, citizenship and password, with an 18+ notice. Official Help then describes SMS-code verification and completion of registration; those later steps were not executed. Citizenship is separate from residence: the privacy notice limits the service to people resident in and physically present in Mozambique. Login uses the phone and password, with a Forgot Password route. The Terms also say registration automatically creates a linked SportySocial page with a default username that can be changed. Consider that linked profile as part of the account decision.
The privacy policy describes identity/fraud checks, marketing and analytics sharing, and retention that can limit immediate deletion. It provides compliance@sportybet.com for data-protection enquiries and describes AI-assistant answers as nonbinding. Its statutory label is imprecise: INTIC identifies Law 3/2017 as the Electronic Transactions Law, including data-protection provisions in articles 63–65. That title mismatch does not mean data protections are absent. The exact local support address is mocambique.suporte@sportybet.com; no support enquiry or identity document was submitted.
Casino Guru's Portuguese-language Mozambique review reported a 6.3 “Below average” Safety Index and an “unverifiable” IGJ licence; it listed two user reviews, below its threshold for a satisfaction score, and reported one email-support test that took three hours. It also lists MZN 11,000 as a daily withdrawal limit. The operator Help instead publishes a MZN 125,000 maximum withdrawal amount without specifying a daily aggregation period in the public text reviewed. These may describe different limits; the MZN 11,000 daily figure remains unconfirmed by the operator's public Terms/Help, and account-level cashier behavior was not accessible. The review's findings are independent third-party assessments, not BetAppStore tests. A separate 2024 review is stale and conflicts with current MZN/M-Pesa information. A focused Portuguese/English search found no attributable Mozambique customer-report pool; global SportyBet and Brazil complaint pages should not be described as Mozambican user experiences.
Safer gambling, eligibility and complaints
The local Terms and footer state an 18+ minimum, and Article 14 of Mozambique's Law 9/2012 prohibits under-18s from practicing the social games classified under Article 3(a), the regulatory category that includes mutual betting and virtual games. The IGJ register lists Sporty Bet, Lda in its social/online-games table, while the regulator's online guidance requires measures to prevent minors accessing online play. The operator's privacy notice says its account service is intended for people resident in and physically located in Mozambique. The statutory category and the operator's declared age rule support treating this local betting service as 18+; they do not settle the authorization or exact legal classification of every casino-style online product. The responsible-gambling page warns against chasing losses and unaffordable play, offers a self-assessment and describes self-exclusion. It says customers may log in to withdraw balances during exclusion, but a later passage says balances cannot be withdrawn until funds have been staked. Treat access to excluded-account funds as unclear and seek written clarification before relying on either statement.
The operator links to general SportyBet self-exclusion guidance describing fixed periods from 24 hours through 90 days, but no country-wide exclusion effect was established. IGJ's player-protection page lists online operator responsibilities such as minor prevention, limits, time controls and self-exclusion; its linked statutory citations include Portuguese legislation, which is not Mozambique law. Do not present that page as proof of the applicable legal basis or of SportyBet's compliance. The regulator's formal Auto Interdição form reviewed relates to casinos/gaming rooms; its applicability to online accounts was not established. No local support response, self-exclusion request or regulator complaint was tested.
