Internet-gaming status
The Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission told the Legislature in 2025 that the 2001 Internet Gaming and Gambling Act had not been implemented and that the territory was not participating in online or mobile sports betting. A 2026 legislative account described proposed amendments to strengthen implementation. This is a changing policy area; the statute alone does not establish a currently licensed online sportsbook.
Betano's status
Betano's shared-service terms expressly exclude U.S. Virgin Islands residents. We verified no Betano territory edition, local internet-betting licence or completed registration and payment. Access to an offshore website would not override the terms or local licensing position.
